You spend a third of your life in your bedroom, so it is vitally important to make sure your space is stylish yet functional and calming.

We all know the importance of a good night’s sleep, but do we realise how much the interior can impact this?

The Hollywood Light up mirrors team has spoken to 50 of the top experts in design to give their top tips and advice on bedroom ideas that will guide you to the relaxing haven that you need.

Katie Rioux, DWK Interiors

Many rooms do not have a pre-existing focal point. But fear not! Creating one isn’t difficult, and it can be much more fun. Adding an accent wall with paint, a mural, wallpaper, or even panelling is a great way to add a quick—and dramatic—focal point.

In this space, we created a focal point with a striking accent gallery wall of deep blue paint. We added to the focal point with a custom upholstered headboard, and we just had to take it one step further by hanging the oversised art.

Putting a coherent scheme together can be a daunting task so here are some tips for creating a desirable bedroom (or any room for that matter) with the best dressing table mirror with lights to go with it.

Lighting and texture are the most critical elements of a room for us. A bedroom should feel welcoming and warm no matter what the decor/colour or size. Getting the lighting right is vital that cannot be stressed enough. And all lights, especially overhead lighting, should be dimmable otherwise it's impossible to create an atmosphere.

A designer will rarely use a ceiling or pendant light as the primary Light Source in a room; it's the lower level lighting such as lamps and picture lights that create warmth in a place.

Have you ever walked into a room switched on the ceiling light and thought how cold or glib the room felt? The chances are that was the only light source, and that's the reason why.

Table lamps, Picture lights, floor standing lamps, bedroom mirror even a piece of artwork with an LED strip behind it will soften a room and create a welcoming glow.

Aside from this, the texture is also vital. Textures with soft furnishings such as headboards, cushions, rugs, and upholstered chairs are the smaller detail which often gets overlooked. A pile of old books or a vase or 3 (we like grouping things together for effect) complete a design.

Never underestimate the amount of bedding you should have either. A double bed should have at least four pillows (or 6) and a couple of throws in different textures. Still, a complementary palette, it makes it feel sumptuous even if your design idea is modern and minimalist.

You can check BedKingdom which is a leading provider of modern and minimalist designs, allowing you to create a truly exquisite atmosphere in your home. Their wide range of design options ensures that whatever the vision for your dream home.

Attempt a mood board, if your good on the pc then has a go at a digital mood board there are plenty of options out there and if not, opt for a physical version, this can help if you can't visualise what the room will look. Use cuttings of beds and headboards etc., from mags and samples of fabrics your thinking of using, what's important here as with any interior is styling a room using detail, so don't forget to add that in too.

And finally, whether your scheme is light and airy or dark and moody keep the colour palette simple and bring in the colour with the smaller detail, that way it doesn't take too much time, effort and cost to change it up when you want to change it.

A great and straightforward addition to a modern bedroom is a cosy reading corner which you can quickly put together with a comfy chair and floor lamp.

A feature wall behind the bed frame will create a statement in your bedroom with the use of a bold wallpaper or coloured wall. If using wallpaper, pick out an accent colour from the wallpaper for the rest of the walls. If painting the walls, use a complementing colour in a lighter shade.

To maximise storage space, consider having a bespoke floor to ceiling unit built into your bedroom. As well as being practical, give an immaculate look.

For a small guest bedroom, keeping the colours simple and light can make the room feel more open and airy.

A mirror such as a full length mirror is a vital element to the bedroom. As well as it’s practical to use, it helps make the room feel lighter, brighter and more substantial. Prop a large mirror against the wall for an effortless look or above a dresser or dressing table to create a vanity area.

Go for an extra soft rug around your bed to step on first thing in the morning. Something timeless and straightforward, like a Berber rug would be perfect.

Opting for neutral, natural colours and interesting textures - and incorporating tone on tone for a “soothing cloud” like feel while also using softer grey tones on walls for comfort and a calming sense.

A soft and simple headboard goes a long way in making a bedroom feel cosy, and some great pillows for daytime napping and reading go a long way. When it comes to bedding, a thin wool throw to adjust for the temperature changes during the night and layering sheets and blankets is key to good night sleep. Opt for a soft, luxurious carpet to step onto, but wood flooring in the rest of the room.

We recommend two sets of bedside lights, one to give a warm glow from a linen shade as well as bright, directional LED for reading - one that is small enough not to disturb your partner. Go from day to night with great blackouts for the night and simple linen sheers for daytime privacy. When selecting furniture, we always ensure the bedside table is large enough to fit all you need from phones, glasses, lamp, books and a drawer to hide any other clutter.

And of course, a great mattress!

I love using a silvery grasscloth in bedrooms. It’s the perfect combination of texture and elegance. It’s also soft and serene and is a beautiful background for almost any accent colour.

In the first image, the panels are a warm divider in a large guest suite on the third floor of a 20s Georgian home in a lakefront town outside of Chicago. The geometric panels separate the resting space from the lounging area — the room designed to be welcoming and hospitable for visitors…whether a couple or a family. The back of the sofa on the other side of the room folds down for extra sleeping space. The panels are operable doors that add structure, dimension, texture and mystery to the large room.

In the second image, the panels are functioning closet doors that bring great character to the much-appreciated storage they add to the room.

Light is essential to create ambience and set the mood in a room. Reading lights provide task lighting at night while bedside lamps create a gentle glow. Floor lamps are ideal for giving view by occasional chairs such as those positioned in the reading nook while a full spread of light can occur with ceiling spots. Use lighting on passive infrared (PIR) sensors in wardrobes to highlight your clothing as a chic detail when dressing.

When choosing a colour, decide on the mood that you want to create in the room. Our latest mood board was inspired by my love for this console table ‘Celeste’, by Laura Bohinc.

The design embraces this year’s trends for both Curves and Linear Design. Different tones of teal and gold for the walls and the rest of the furnishings. Using white with this creates a fresh, uplifting feel to the room. To create a more calming place, I would replace the Mural wallpaper with a plain paint finish. Paler shades will create a calming retreat whereas darker shades a more dramatic cosy room.

I suggest decorating the wall behind the bed with shallow shelves and placing many small pictures on top of it. I did it for my bedroom!

Mette Jakobsen, monsterscircus

In a well-designed bedroom features relaxed and lived-in details. There's nothing more luxurious than beautiful bedding, plenty of storage and a delicate mix of textures. Make the bed room welcoming and add warmth with layers of textiles.

To create the feeling of a luxe retreat pop a vase of fresh flowers on a drawer or bedside table. Express your personality with a unique or handmade wallhanging or fill a blank wall with your favourite artists and create a casual vignette with leaning art.

JILL CATRINEL, Curious & Cultivated

Although my style is very bold, I like to keep bedroom designs relatively simple. Bedrooms are necessarily for resting, and simple design is easier to keep tidy. I use more substantial, often deeply saturated pieces to fill the space, which gives off a fully styled look. But if you pick apart what's in there, there's not a whole lot of decor. This way, I can turn down the bed to go to sleep and remake it when I wake up. There's very little to dust, and if anything ever is out of place, it only takes a few seconds to put it back together again.

Feather a restful bedroom retreat by playing up a single colour family within the room. Start by identifying one neutral colour and one feature colour. Then draw upon these two hues with varying values and tints for everything in the room, everything from paint to bedding to accessories. The unified colour palette will help make for a calming spot to start and end each day.

The only tip I have for decorating a bedroom is not to have a television in the bedroom. I think bedrooms should be tranquil places to relax and sleep and private places to retreat too. A TV in the bedroom intrudes on the tranquillity and privacy.

Kelly Paulson, Your Color Consultant

Walls are the most massive structure you see when you walk into a room. A calm, neutral colour can make or break the house. Choosing a neutral colour with white trim will create a beautiful relaxing space for your bedroom.

Wallpaper, Wood planks and even tile are great ways to add some pizzaz to a bedroom to replace or accentuate your headboard. The easiest way is to use peelable wallpaper and peel and stick planks.

As far as your bedroom is concerned, you should use colours which make you feel at ease. Surround yourself by things you love and do not be afraid of showing your passions!

Achilles Kalogridis, SimplicityLove

Simplicity is the key for a bedroom with a peaceful, calm and intimate feeling. Careful use of lighting, an opening with an outside view, natural materials for finishes and bed lining, a bedside shelf or table for your goodnight reading.

Rani Engineer, La Maison Jolie

Create a luxe vacation feel in your bedroom by using a soft colour palette that creates a sense of relaxation and serenity. Add heaps of texture and visual interest to create a sense of relaxed luxury. Layer pure cotton or linen bedding, a beautiful plush quilt and cover, a soft velvet throw that is both pretty and functional in a contrasting colour, euro shams to create that sense of grandeur and a beautiful accent cushion against a velvet or cane bedhead to complete the overall look. Add your favourite greenery to your bedside table, a dressing table mirror, functional yet statement bedside lamps and a floor rug to sink your toes into but overall a find a style that engages you, interests you and comforts you.

Always plan for more storage space than you think you need. We still have more stuff than we think we do, even when we try to declutter with techniques like the Marie Kando method. Suitcases and other large, clunky items usually get left for last in the storage plan: Make sure that you’ve thought about them right at the beginning. Otherwise, you may be left with a suitcase sitting in the middle of your beautiful new bedroom.

Paula Benson, Founder and Editor, FilmandFurniture.com

We often look at the movies and films to find inspiration for bedroom decoration. One teenager’s bedroom that caught my eye recently was that of Lara Jean Song Covey in the recently released Netflix film To All The Boy’s I’ve Loved Before. Her highly individual and creative use of upcycled second-hand furniture and a statement hand-painted floral mural are décor details we can all take influence from – whether young or old. We even got all the behind-the-scenes information from the Production Designer.

Vicki Tynan, Wheel Chic Home

When it comes to the bedroom, a bright and calm space can help to promote a good night’s sleep, so clearing away the clutter is essential to make the bedroom into a calming retreat. But how best to store away all those things you don’t want on display?

A bed with added storage is a great idea to keep the bedroom clutter-free - but first, consider what you want to store and how often you will need access to it.

If you want to store suitcases, large duvets or other big items that you don’t need access to all the time, then an ottoman bed is the way to go. You can get so much in there, and it’s all hidden away neatly.

If you’re using the storage for clothes, paperwork, shoes or smaller items that you use often, then drawers are the best bet. You can get easy access, and you can even nominate a drawer for specific types of items so that you can keep everything neat and tidy but within easy reach!

Catherine Lazure-Guinard, Nordic Design

Embrace the messy bed - The perfectly imperfect creased linen, the blanket casually thrown over the bed. It automatically adds warmth, cosiness, and authenticity. The lived-in look is suitable for any style, even chic and sophisticated interiors. Such simplicity is beautiful and, quite frankly, liberating.

I'm a fan of keeping things calm and simple in the bedroom, often you can be tight on space so keep things to the essentials, I love soft dreamy colour palettes, and excellent bed linen is a must, think indigo blues, olive green, shades of grey or pastels for a fresh but relaxing bedroom.

Lucy Gleeson, Lucy Loves Ya

For a smaller, compact bedroom think about adding a large mirror to one of the walls. Not only does it make the room feel a lot larger, but it will also reflect the light and generally brighten the space.

Sarah Dorweiler

I always try to keep it neutral, timeless and decluttered to create a space to relax, recharge and feel safe.

Ashley Cramp, Lazy Daisy Jones

Your bedroom should be a sanctuary from the stresses and strains of everyday life, so be sure to keep it calm and uncluttered and if possible free of tech! Choose colours that make you feel happy and relaxed.

Kristen Luhring, Arie + Co

Don't be afraid to go bold. Many people think bedrooms need to be calm and serene, but if you prefer colour, such as fuchsia nightstands, go for it.

Lianne Hempsall, Makes, Bakes & Decor

I think one of the essential things when deciding how to decorate a bedroom is colour. What is it that you want from the room? So far in our home, we have only painted the children's bedrooms, so we've been having lot's of fun with bright colour and decor choices as that is where they have all their toys and play.

However, when the time comes for us to work on our bedroom, we will go for calmer, more subtle colours. Go for muted tones rather than bright ones when choosing your colour, and this will help you create a space to relax and unwind in at the end of a busy day.

Raluca Vaduva - Interior Designer & Founder of Detail Movement

The Bedroom is a significant room in any home. It's the place where you relax both physically and mentally. A bedroom shouldn't be a place just for sleep, but also a place that stimulates the imagination. And while white or beige might be an excellent idea for a bedroom colour scheme, I for one, am fascinated with darker colours. The main reason is simple: anything you place on such a backdrop will pop out and create an excellent contrast.

All you need for that to work is a darker colour backdrop (walls) and play around with more vibrant colours that can be found in pieces of furniture, accessories, curtains, art etc. For example, if you choose to go for a patterned headboard for your bed or use playful cushions, the result will be fab and easy to achieve (not to mention easy to switch up). Oh and let's not forget about the potential of art on such walls! After all, life is full of colour! We should all celebrate that!

Charis White

For me, a successful decorating scheme for a bedroom is one which encompasses the dual aspects of decoration but also the element of creating a sense of sleep-inducing calm. Here is how best to achieve this:

Position the bed facing or side on to a window (try to avoid putting the headboard against a window/bay as it could be drafty and looks messy from the outside!).

Keep pattern to a super large padded headboard and the wallpaper behind the headboard. Fabric covered walls are expensive but look fantastic and create a softer look. Alternatively, consider hanging a large vintage or ethnic textile from a batten or pole on the wall behind the bed. The rest of the room that you look out onto the mattress is more restful if just painted.

Creating ambient reading light for your bedroom is best achieved with table lamps symmetrically placed either side of the bed or with wall lights which can be angled. Create a little extra glamour, depth and sparkle to your bedroom with a mirror either side of the foundation behind the table lamps.

Finally, ignore all cries from menfolk about having accent cushions on beds – and always have a bedspread - and valance if you have a divan. The secret to a luxurious bed is about layering with square pillows, oblong pillows, square and rectangular accent cushions.

David White and Mark Russell, Forward Features

Spruce up your bedroom with a fresh set of new bedding. Our bedding of choice? At the moment we love waffle bedding as well as natural linen. You can find linen bedding in an array of colours, so it's excellent for revamping the look of a room with a new hue. And as well as being super cosy in the winter it's also great for keeping you more relaxed in the summer months. What's more, it's got that whole fuss-free thing going on, so there's no need to iron it - dreamy!

Colin, CSW

Houseplants are all the rage at the moment - and your bedroom can be a fantastic place to keep some!

As well as generally looking beautiful, individual plants are especially beneficial to keep in your bedroom, for reasons such as air purification or oxygen production.

Great plants to keep in your room can include Aloe Vera (releases oxygen always throughout the night), Peace Lillies (can cleanse the air as much as 60%) and Spider Plants (can reduce the number of toxins in the air by up to 90%)!

Lora Green, Craftivity Designs

When planning bedroom decor, make sure to consider function first. Do you need more hanging space? Include a wardrobe in the bedroom design. Do you need a spot to lay clothes for the day? Shop for a bench or chair. Do you need a place to hang necklaces?

Buy pretty wall hooks. The function should always be the starting point for any room makeover -- and, of course, choose beautiful pieces that serve those purposes! Just don't make the mistake of selecting beautiful pieces before determining the needs of the space.

A bedroom should be a place to relax and unwind - not somewhere you have to climb through a clutter of shoes, clothes, and accessories. Consider storage options such as beds with built-in drawers, storage units in wardrobes and slimline chests of drawers. If you want more photogenic storage options, you can always use some pretty baskets and eye-catching shelving to make a feature of your accessories.

Emma Kewley, INTERIORfolk

Given that the average person spends a third of their life sleeping, it’s hardly surprising that creating a peaceful bedroom is high on the agenda for many of us. Your bedroom design needs to reflect your personality, but it doesn’t take long to realise that successful bedroom schemes have several key points in common.

The first is a fabulous bed and headboard. Use the headboard to set the mood for your room and anchor your colour scheme – low-slung, Italian-style padded in smart-looking wool for a chic penthouse feel; a taller headboard in a tactile fabric adds texture and softness. Or perhaps like us, you’ve chosen a feature wallpaper, and this must go behind the headboard, making it the focal point.

On the walls we often opt for neutral paint colours from a restful and calming palette, and using your cushions, throw and other accessories for the injection of colour, this also allows you to undertake the occasional revamp. We’ll be using Farrow and Ball’s new Sulking Room Pink for a bedroom this year – although it’s of-the-moment, its soft tones should hold your interest for many years to come.

Using different elements of upholstery is also a fundamental way to make your bedroom feel sumptuous and fully furnished. Consider an ottoman or beautiful velvet bench at the end of the bed and a stylish chair as an opportunity to boost your layers of texture and colour. If you have a wooden floor, add rugs for comfort and colour, or use them to zone a bedroom if you opt for a cosy, inviting carpets.

Full-length curtains in fabrics that drape amazingly really add a sense of luxury. Wools, silk blends, soft glazed linens, all are great for exact colours and a perfect hang. If you already have blinds then consider adding dress curtains for that feeling of warmth, and it makes the room feel finished.

Make sure you also ear-mark enough of your budget for lighting and mirrors. We love a statement chandelier at Interior Folk, but this is pointless unless you can marry it with practical but decorative task lighting for reading. Hang mirrors to harness natural light if possible, and this is particularly important if you have a dressing table mirror.

Your one take-home message? Start with the colour you love for the wall or headboard or a feature wallpaper and build from there. Make sure you decide on as many elements as you can before you start buying anything. Remember, great rooms rarely happen by chance, but if you plan carefully, then a good night’s sleep awaits you.

Fay Austin, The Poncy Pantry

When decorating a bedroom, my advice would be to fill it with things that bring you joy: colours that feel calming, pictures of loved ones, fresh plants and art that inspires.

If you are decorating on a budget, don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty and try some DIY. Upcycling old furniture, homemade trinkets and statement artwork are all easy to achieve and so affordable.

Stacey Sheppard, The Design Sheppard

The artwork is a great way to add personality to your bedroom as well as create a statement that helps to tie your interior design scheme together. Determining the right size of artwork for your room can be tricky, and it's easy to get this wrong. If in doubt, always choose more significant pieces so that you can maximise the impact of the artwork. In general, artwork should take up two-thirds to three-quarters of the wall. If you are hanging artwork above your bed, you should position the bottom of the piece about 20-25cms above the top of the headboard. For any other locations in the bedroom hang your artwork so that the centre of the article is at eye level.

Jenna Shaughnessy, Jenna Kate at Home

Think carefully when picking a paint colour for your bedroom. Think of soothing colours that will not only help relax you but also help you to sleep well. Bright colours like red have the effect of making your heart race and inhibiting sleep, while calming colours like blues (or any soft colour really) will create a calm environment that's best for getting some quality shut-eye!

Kristen & Vicki, Timeless Creations

To us, a bedroom should be soft, cosy, and calm. Three components that help make up your haven where you can escape to. Add lots of cosy blankets and pillows - adding interest with different textures. We prefer softer colours to invoke that calmness a bedroom should have. As for the small decor items, they should be in line with what the rest of your home entails - all things that please YOU!

Leslie Sinclair, Segreto Finishes

The wall behind a bed is a perfect place to incorporate an accent that says “wow”! By combining textures, tones, and patterns, with paint and plaster a custom effect is created which complements the rooms décor in a unique one of a kind way.

Amy Davies Pereira, Little House in London

Create a mood board first; it's so helpful. I couldn't decide between grey or white finished furniture, and a quick mood board helped me choose this. There are lots of free online tools to help you create one. I like Canva.

Kelley Rowland, Sweeten

For a smaller bedroom, consider painting the longer walls a dark colour, like black. It can help lengthen the room. Leave the other walls, ceiling, and any mouldings lighter to offset the darker hue.

Courtney Equal, Girl & Grey

Don't feel like you have to do a makeover in one day. Add things little by little that you love, and then the room will have a more collected feel.

Martyn White, Martyn White Designs

While many rooms in the home are perfect canvases for expressing personality and style, the bedroom is a valuable space to decorate with its use in mind. Try to use calming and natural tones within the interior as the colour selection has more of a psychological effect on us that you may initially think. Lighting is also another crucial area to focus on, try using indirect lights and ones that can dim to allow you to wind down in the evenings. Think about your morning and evening routines and ensure that space is designed around them to ensure you make the most of the day

In city homes, space is at a premium, so for small bedrooms, my top tip is to install well-designed, bespoke storage solutions. Include a small desk or dressing table area as I did in this bedroom to maximise the space you have available.

Don't feel like you need to use soothing, quiet colours in the bedroom because that's what all the designers recommend. Choose colours that work for you, colours that make you happy doesn't mean you won't be able to unwind at the end of a long day!

cool bedroom decor

Meera Pendred, First Sense Interiors

Every room should have a hero piece, and in most cases, it is the main furniture of the room that deserves to be in the limelight. So for a bedroom, invest in a bed or headboard that wows. Balance the drama of the headboard with textiles and accessories in calm muted colours or natural tones which make the bedroom feel serene, cosy and inviting.

master bedroom design tips

Ann Carter, Ann Carter Inc

There are three fundamentals for designing a bedroom that I hold dear for a successful (and restful) space.

The first is a bit of wisdom I picked up from my mother’s interior designer, the late Mr Berle Smith, who remains iconic in Mississippi. He felt you should always enter into a bedroom looking at the foot of the bed. I stand by his viewpoint to this day as a foundation for bedroom furniture placement. However, every space, and every family is different. Ultimately, it is most important to consider how you live day to day and what works best for your area, as well as your lifestyle.

The second rule of thumb for a great looking bedroom is, of course, colour. Colour has arguably the most significant impact on your first impression of a room. The paint on your walls can easily manipulate your mood, so it’s essential to stick to a serene colour palette that promotes tranquillity and a restful mind. Stick to soft neutrals for a sleepy space, or pale blues to promote relaxation. I generally avoid families of red or orange, but funny enough. An excellent chocolate colour can make for a knock out bedroom.

The final fundamental can be tricky and often impacts the colour of your walls. Harsh lighting in your bedroom can make a soft grey wall appear green, or warm ivory go too yellow for your liking. Ensure your bulb wattage follows the same theme as wall colour and remains soft and natural. If you’re an in-bed reader, consider dim task lights in addition to bedside lamps. A trick to help with scale is you generally want to be able to turn your bedside lamp on and off without standing up out of bed. Bedside lamps need to be tall enough to shed light down on a fantastic read, but not so tall they tower out of reach.

The dimensions and layout of the room will ultimately guide your furniture placement, but the final product should be your haven from the chaos of daily life.

Don't worry about matching your bedding sets. Buy a plain duvet cover - white or grey, cotton or linen. It doesn't matter so long as it's neutral - then mix and match with pricier pillowcases. It will change the look and feel of your bedding so much, and you can go for different fabrics, colours and patterns depending on the season or your mood.

I like to do the same with extra layers of bedding, using a big, warm wool blanket in the winter and a lightweight cotton throw in the summer. Just changing these few things around can make such a difference to the feel of your bedroom and stop you getting bored with the same old duvet set all the time.

Natalie Lockwood, Little Mill House

A bedroom should be a calming space to relax in at the end of a long busy day, but that doesn't mean we can't add some personality. Green is such a calming colour. I wanted to add some shades of it to our master bedroom at home in a bold, botanical way, so I wallpapered behind the bed. For a fantastic playful feature, I also wallpapered the door panels of the wardrobe.

Laura La Gambina, Laura's Humble Adobe

For me, the bedroom is all about comfort and lushness, and I love a good lie down! Whether I’m reading, watching Netflix or calling friends, I want to be cosy to maximise the enjoyment. My tip is to think about your headboard by making it super comfortable and supportive so that all of the above activities are done in the most relaxing way. Upholstered padded headboards with a slight rake or slant are perfect, in my opinion.

There are so many gorgeously upholstered beds available at the moment, and you could choose a fantastic colour that fits with your scheme, a standout, pop-of-colour piece, or a subtle shade that blends in with the room. If a new upholstered bed/headboard isn’t in the budget, you can still achieve the luxury feel with some layered cushions. I would recommend a couple of 60x60cm in feather for that hotel feel, with a coordinating smaller option on top, so it has that stacked look. All you need to do then is lie back and sink in.

Every beautiful bedroom needs an en suite and an illuminated bathroom mirror.

1) Wash your bedding regularly

There is nothing that ruins your sleep like the icky smell coming out of your bedding.

To bring back the healthy condition of your mattress, all you need is vinegar. Start by removing the linens. Next, vacuum the entire surface of the mattress. After that, mix equal parts of water and white vinegar in a spray bottle. Apply to the stain and blot with a clean cloth. Sprinkle a layer of baking soda over the mattress and leave for a few hours. Baking soda will break down acid and neutralise any stubborn odours.

Keeping your bedding and mattress clean is not only more healthy but will also help you relax.

2) Use natural cleaning products

Natural cleaning products can help improve your health and provide you with a more sound night’s rest.

To clean your pillows, lemon and vinegar make a great combination. Push the pillows in the washing machine. Add 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide, ½ cups of vinegar and ¼ cups of lemon juice to the water. Let the pillows soak for 30 min and run them through a normal wash cycle.

3) Declutter

A clean room can improve your health and help you fall asleep easier.

To declutter your bedroom, start with the wardrobe. Sort your items into two piles and decide what you want to keep or throw out. Then, do the same with your drawers and desk. Take everything out and work out whether you want to keep it. Finally, remove any belongings which do not belong in your room and remember to use window mirrors
