Lee Broom Crystal Bulb
Winner of a British Design Award in 2012, the Crystal Bulb pendant light by Lee Broom fuses modernity with the traditional. Inspired by the delicate craftsmanship of crystal cutting, combining industrial influences with decorative qualities, Broom has transformed the everyday light bulb into an ornamental fitting.
Hand-blown in Cumbria in the only crystal factory remaining in the UK, then cut with a classic crystal pattern and etched with the Lee Brown crest, the Crystal Bulb can be hung alone or in clusters to enchanting effect. It can also be mixed with the Lee Broom Decanter light, which we also stock. Designed to fit any E27 bulb fitting, the Crystal Bulb is available for purchase on its own or with a luxurious brushed brass pendant fitting. The pendant fitting, which also features the Lee Broom crest, includes a gold silk flex and a matching brushed brass ceiling rose.
Lee Broom is the UK’s hottest young designer. He established his own design label in 2007 and since then has had more than ten exhibitions, won over twenty awards and designed more than forty bars, retail units and restaurants. He designs, manufactures and retails his own sumptuous, to-die-for electrical and furniture designs exclusively in the UK – but he sells them all over the world.
The Crystal Bulb is equally at home in any style of room. Try an odd number hung at different heights above a coffee table for a richly dramatic ambience.
